bah humbug.....one of the better things about being out here is.....xmas isn't shoved down our throats that much....well it is a bit...but not until at least end of october!!!! [img]redface.gif[/img]

right now the more traditional shops are beautiful....we are about to celebrate mid-autumn festival (in 12 days) so the shops are full of beautiful paper lanterns...all shapes sizes colours.....

and...MOONCAKE TIME....lotus paste baked in pastry around salty duck egg yolks..... [img]tongue.gif[/img]

I know what lanterns are.....but paper ones???
Do u happen to have a pic of what one looks like???

I know for me at work, we are already prepping for the holiday season (no decorations, YET)....
But this is the time for pre-ordering and getting all the product in the store before the actual holidays.
I kinda feel like bah- hum bug too...it's like....can we just enter a month where it doesn't have to be a major holiday and everyone has to run around in a panic? *L*
